Interesting...I know in the past host teams have been able to participate in the AOCAF, just wondering if that rule will stand.

NEWI Cefn Druids' hosting bid for AOCAF III

Group format

16 teams - Four groups of four teams, playing each other once, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and final (and 3rd/4th place match).

20 teams - Four groups of five, playing each other once, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and final (and 3rd/4th place match).

24 teams - Four groups of six, playing each other once, then second round (16 teams), quarter-finals, etc.

Stadia

Twelve different stadia will be used if NEWI Cefn Druids is selected as host, with three designated to each group. They are as follows...

The Hole, Mawr
Capacity - 89,500

The Hole is NEWI Cefn Druids' national stadium, where the national team play their home games, as well as playing host to numerous other sporting events, including the last Field Hockey World Cup final. The roof over the stadium retracts to let air into this 200 metre deep hole in the Cefn-Mawr countryside. The capacity has recently been increased by 11,500 due to the growing demand for tickets to see the ever improving Druids.

New Road, Bessburg
Capacity - 24,320

The home of Druid champions Bessburg might not be the prettiest of football grounds, but then it is more of a stadium of a community than that of the club. Atmosphere is electric when there's a full house in, though that only ever happens for big games.

CheminduStadium, Graymouth
Capacity - 72,000

In the heart of NEWI Cefn Druids industrial region on the west coast, the CheminduStadium is owned by NEWI Cefn Druids' largest company Chemindus. The second biggest stadium in the country is home to Graymouth, and is next door to hte infamous ChemindusArena, a former nuclear power station once used for Handball World Cup matches.

Anwir Cymru Arms, Llllllllllcwllllllll
Capacity 53,500

Anwir Cymru is the area of NEWI Cefn Druids where Mock Welsh is most widely spoken. The biggest city in the region is also home of the biggest stadium there, the Arms, and its biggest football club, Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers. Usually a welcoming place, however, if you've come looking for trouble, you're always going to find some.

Park Park, Parkville
Capacity - 35,000

Despite not being the biggest ground in the country, Park Park is definately the most luxurious, with not only every seat having padding, but also a drinks holder, ear plugs relaying the commentary of games in eight different languages and a monitor built into the seat infront, allowing spectators to watch replays of whatever they want, whenever they want. It's what you would expect from the richest club in NEWI Cefn Druids, Parkville.

Griffin Park, Cefn
Capacity - 43,000

This is the new home of Cefn Albion, built after their old ground collapsed. However, they assure us that this place is built on solid foundations, and with 15,000 more seats than its predecessor, who are we to argue?

The Viaduct, Cefn
Capacity - 24,000

Another stadium that has hosted international sport before, The Viaduct, home of Cefn Athletic, played host to Field Hockey when the World Cup came to NEWI Cefn Druids. Always welcoming, the viaduct is in the shadows of NEWI Cefn Druids' most famous landmark, the three and a half mile long viaduct that runs through the west of the Druidish capital city.

Dave Dome, Dave
Capacity - 19,890

OK, so it isn't dome shaped, but then Dave isn't exactly thought of as the intellectual capital of NEWI Cefn Druids. Handball is the biggest sport in the area, so if Sarzonia come to town, expect them to receive heavy support. If anyone local can locate the ground, that is.

Away Ground, Port Scadock
Capacity 46,000

The Away Ground is another stadium that will play host to large groups of foreign supporters, though these will be from Vilita and Turori, as it is home to newly promoted Vilitan Exiles. If either of those two are drawn to play here, then it will almost be a home game for them.

Montisch Stadion, Neodzki
Capacity - 51,000

Montisch, home of Dinamo Neodzki, is in the New Europa region of NEWI Cefn Druids, where there is no clear set language spoken. It is unknown how people talk to each other there, as there seems to be at least twenty different words for just about everything, but somehow it has become one of the most prosperous areas of the country.

Trevor Gardens, Trevor
Capacity - 25,001

Confusing for all concerned, this most Druidish sounding of places is home to Trevor City. Which, from the name, you probably could have guessed in one. The capacity was only supposed to be 25,000, but chairman Trevor Garth-Tobias wanted to have a personal armchair that faced the pitch that he could watch the match from, so it was added. Anyone else found sitting in the chair on a matchday will be seriously injured by a large trout.

Marsh Park, Newton Vale
Capacity - 34,000

Finally, the home of another newly promoted team, Newton Vale. This is a new stadium in a relatively new town that seems to be expanding by the week. ion just eight years, the population has risen from about 20 to about 850,000, and it is growing all the time. The stadium also contains the National Cycling Centre & Velodrome, so if an international cycling event needs a location, Newton Vale is the place for it.

RP Bonus

The RP bonus will be a considerable size if the Druid bid is successful. Won't give too many details away, only to say that it's all in the name of fun. Any evidence that the RP bonus is being abused will lead to no bonus being given to the team in question, though we don't think it will come to this. The maximum bonus available will be 3 places in the AOCAF rankings.
