Under the Protection of Lady Viannor Starblayde, Starblaydia have re-applied to join the United Nations. Starblaydia have not been a member of the UN ever since the Banning of Nuclear Weapons resolution was nearly brought into effect. With the brutal murder by the 'Break the Chain' movement of Lord Benjamin Mackey, Starblaydia's former UN Representative, Starblaydia remained outside of the UN.
Now, with a new era dawning under Viannor's watchful eye, Starblaydia has been welcomed back to the hallowed halls of the United Nations. Its new representative is Lord Rodrigo Marquez, and his first act was to endorse fellow Strategic Alliance members Xile and Abattoir, as well as the current Regional Delegate, Legalese's Vanessa Cappaverde.

John MacKay, Bazalonia's UN ambassador was shocked when he saw the Starblaydi delegation enter the UN to get their accreditation. He immeadiately went back to his office in the UN building and called back to Stephen...
"Starblaydia are re-entering the UN..." said John
"Okay, keep an eye on them, something is making me think that this is a ploy by Viannor. I better start writing an official response. Bye.. Thanks for telling me." and with that Stephen hung the phone up.
The following announcement was made by the Prime Minister
"This is potentially a very good news for the entire region of Atlantian Oceania. Starblaydia has just recently submitted an application into the UN and has been accepted. We can only hope that under the new leadership Starblaydia will become more friendly international partner though final judgement will be reserved for a yet unknown period of time.
Thank you," |

News about the Starblaydi 'rejoining' of the UN spread like wildfire through the Lamonian government. With the mistrust between Lamoni and Starblaydia, everyone seemed to "KNOW" that this was a Starblaydi trick of some kind. Viannor was up to something, but what?
In the meantime, the Lamonian public statement held a cautiously optimistic tone:
"The Free Republic supports the Starblaydi move to rejoin the UN, and it is our hope that this move will lead to warmer relations between our two nations. While this would be somewhere off in the distant future, it is not too late for this to occur." |

Rodrigo tore the plastic 'EX-UN MEMBER - DO NOT CROSS' tape from across the door and let it fall to the floor. He opened the door to Ben's former office in the UN Building. The dust had barely been wiped away from the room's surfaces and everything still had the smell of cleaning fluids.
He slipped his jacket off his shoulders and placed it casually over the back of the expensive brown leather chair, turned and looked out the window. There was an excellent view, especially from this many floors up. He went to a side cabinet and opened it - there a bottle of Black Label Orcinus.
"Bennie, you old dog," he said to himself, pouring himself a glass. He took a small USB stick from his trouster pocket and plugged it into the sound system. After a few moments of loading, he pressed the 'Play' button. He turned up the volume, up to the kind of level where you would need to shout to be heard, even if standing right next to someone. Terroras, a Starblaydi rock band, fiercely nationalistic and louder than a warzone. He took a sip from his glass.
"Starblaydia's back," Rodrigo thought, "and we aint takin no -explicitive removed-." |
