I forgot to mention, style modifiers are in full effect here. You can choose from -5 (ultra-defensive) to +5 (ultra-attacking). If no modifiers are selected, you team will be given a balanced (0) style. |

Hypocria - AOCAF Squad Formation & Style Hypocria's Under-21 side (and now AOCAF side) are young and fearless so they will be playing an attacking 4-3-3 system. (Modifier +4) Starting Eleven 1. Andy Meyde 2. Steve Jenkins 3. Lucas Vyntra 5. Marc Bava 6. Craig Luciano 4. Nikos Obregon 7. Chris Proudlock 8. Adam Johnson 10. Terry Morais 11. Matt Dorigo 9. Nuno Morales Reserves Yep, but they’re far too unimportant to actually name. Plus we never use them anyway. |

Myrtannia Dryads Formation: 3-3-4 (+3 Modifier)
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e228/Sonya0111/Dryadconceptkits.png Head Coach: America McNany (31 years old) - Mari City . Coach of the reigning MAFC champion Mari City Maulers, named MAFC coach of the year in her first season of coaching. Is considered a lock for the MAFC's hall of fame, just recently retired from action as the MAFC's all time leading scorer. Has promised that the Dryads will be much better this time, even if they don't win any more games than the first time around. Assistant Coach - Rachell Gabino (24). After being injured against Lamoni in AOCAF XIII, Gabino attempted a comeback in the MAFC with Salahadin City. Two rocky seasons later, Gabino officially announced her retirement as a player, and became the coach at the University of Blackheart. Goal Keepers 16. Flo Krabel (23) - Damascos. Backup Goaltender in AOCAF XIII, now the starter after her predecessor allowed 12 goals scored in Myrtannia's AOCAF debut. The pressure will be on her to stop opponent's offenses, though she's grown a lot since her first time around. Last season, Krabel led the MAFC in saves up against some stiff competition. 00. Tiesha Grollman (22) - Bunkal Defenders 9. Orpha Mega (19) - Gohanda. New addition to the Dryads, was named the MAFC's Defensive Rookie of the Year after leading all rookies in caps. 8. Asa Boyenga (23) - FC Rajaff 32. Filiberto Nedina (35) - Mari City. The man who coined the phrase, "Shutting us out is like shooting squid in a barrel.". Despite this, and being the oldest player returning from the AOCAF XIII squad, he is a stout defender, and won Defenseman of the Year last season in the MAFC for Mari City. 26. Francesco Buvens (26) - Mari City 20. Santo Nordlinger (23) - Halosen United Midfielders 14. Daisey Martignago (21) - Salahadin City 12. Rueben Czupryna (29) - Blackheart FC 4. Iesha Alimo (20) - Damascos 2. Shu Ellebrecht (22) - Skalatur 17. Eneida Nonu (24) - Lahar 18. Sarina Hammang (23) - Niniisto Forwards 7. Dania Figary (20) - Halosen United. Myrtannia's only returning original starting forward from AOCAF XIII, she has improved her game dramatically since then. Figary was second in the MACF in goals scored last season with 56, just a handful behind league-leader Deeann Massetti. 10. Deeann Massetti (19) - Blackheart FC. Massetti is famous for being the only player on the roster to score a goal in AOCAF XIII, scoring a hat trick in Myrtannia's only victory, 3-1 over Dorian and Sonya. She has been named the captain of the team for AOCAF XIV. 11. Lenna Elhaj (20) - Vanhannen 65. September Rollock (17) - Blackheart FC. Rollock entered the MAFC just last season, but had an almost immediate impact on Blackheart FC. Combined with the irrepressible Deeann Massetti, she helped the Buccaneers reach their first MAFC Cup Final, and finished third in the MAFC's scoring last season, behind Dryads teammates Dania Figary and Deann Massetti. She is expected to add some much-needed offensive power to the traditionally hapless Myrtannia front line. 33. Asley Danoff (23) - Mari City 22. Rozalynn Gabino (15) - Siggurd Jarlsson High School. Younger sister of retired Dryads/MAFC veteran Rachell Gabino, and national leader in goals and assists at the high school level in the Allied States. Expected to be a top 5 pick in next season's MAFC draft. 21. Tocarra Khat (20) - Niniisto *Age of player in parenthesis, bold denotes starter |

Bettia Squad - AOCAF 14 The FAB has announced that the squad representing Bettia in AOCAF 14 will be the same squad that did so well in the last Under-21 World Cup. All of these players have yet to play a senior international, so no caps or goals to speak of... Opponants may RP just about anything they like, short of killing or maiming. In keeping with Bettian tradition, the Aroras will be playing a stupidly all-out attacking style (+5). Goalkeepers 1. Safwan Sulaiman - Irogil FC (Vilita), age 20 2. Mitchell Ellis - Rhyngwladol Gabalfa, age 19 Defence 3. Stephen Harris - Grappenhall, age 22 4. Clayton Howes - Lorshill City, age 21 5. Ivan Francis - Grappenhall, age 22 6. Milchama Announce "Roster We are playing a +3 style. GK: Tuck Koolerc- The former Milchama #1 until Fairbanks left and Finton took his job. He would like to regain that spot but he his aging and its looking less and less likely that it will happen. D: Mariosz Florfenord- Slow but big. He has never really been able to cut internationally but has been able to get by because of our lack of defenders. Wants to show people that this will not be his last international tournament. D: Kyoga Marcazumi- Was on the Milchama for two WCs before getting bumped off in favor of Casey Stockholm. Also wants to do better than his one ever start when he allowed in 6 goals against Rordia. D Kent Littner- Nothing special about him he's just consistently good. M: Chuck Farenstein- A solid player who has never really gotten a chance on the A squad. His play on the B though has always been excellent. M: Del Clufor- His play on the U21 side has helped catapult him to this spot. He now wants to prove he can do everything at the senior level. M: Marin Keffer- The once 15 year old wonderkind is a bit older now but is still just as good if not better. His attacks will be key for Milchama. F: Bobby Martin- His first ever Milchama start will be this tournament. He has been fighting for this place since WC 24 and has finally gotten a chance. Now he just needs to prove he belongs. F: Zar Johnson- A wonderful center forward and is only off the team because of the Milchamian glut in forwards. Wants to use this performance to catapult him on the WC 29 team. F: Bat Nackson- This is the first time in a long time that he will be a center forward for Milchama internationally and he wants to show that he can score without Faren. F: Daveed Lintooney- A great crosser who doesn't do much else. If he could he'd be on the A team. Subs: Gk: Fletcher James D: Thomas Thomas M: Emmit Till M: James James F: Tuck Feders |

Starblaydi World Cup 28 Squad Tolkacheva Gunning for Glory The Staff GE. http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Geraint_Evans, Assistant-Manager, 58 46 Caps, 8 Goals (17 Caps, 4 Goals at Under-21 Level) Named as the manager of the Starblaydi AOCAF team, Geraint has made a fine assistant to Azanulbizarn in the World Cup stage, tempering the Dwarf's more... 'outlandish' ideas into something akin to normal. It appears that some of Khim's stylings may have rubbed off, though, as Geraint brings six strikers to the tournament. The Goalkeepers 1. Ahab Maestas, GK, 38 - Hallad Reavers 13 Caps, 0 Goals (5 Caps, 0 Goals at Under-21 Level) 12. Ely Proudfoot, GK, 28 - Akisa Surta (Vilitan Declasse) Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) 19. Paola Mendez, GK, 22 - Huntress United Uncapped (3 Caps, 0 Goals at Under-21 Level) The Defenders 2. Francisco Ibanez, RB, 32 - Lepus FC (Spruitland) 36 Caps, 6 Goals (14 Caps, 0 Goals at Under-21 Level) 'Iban The Terrible' is back. After spending AOCAF13 in the company of STarblaydia's World Cup 27 team, 'Cisco comes back to the AOCAF where he made his name. Watch out... pretty much everybody, really. 3. Magdalena Ruiz, LB, 19 - Tabeck Lightning 2 Caps, 0 Goals (3 Caps, 0 Goals at Under-21 Level) 5. Leo Velaise, CB, 22 - Veles 6 Caps, 0 Goals (6 Caps, 0 Goals at Under-21 Level) 6. Alberto Belmozzi, CB/CF, 28 - Gateway Bay (Kaze Progressa) 17 Caps, 0 Goals (9 Caps, 1 Goal at Under-21 Level) He's the man with Belmoron DNA in his cells, but that hasn't stopped him from performing well for his country. 13. Stephen Adams, CB, 17 - Unattached Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) 14. Tabitha Di Bradini, RB, 18 - Daii Raiders Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) Yes, a Di Bradini is back in a Starblaydi shirt for the first time in years. Roberto's Grand-daughter is a fine up-and-coming young full-back. 20. Oswald Perheira, L/CB, 35 - Veger United (Spruitland) 20 Caps, 1 Goal (7 Caps, 0 Goals at Under-21 Level) He thought his international career might well be over but with a need for experience, old Oswald is back in white and purple one last time. The Midfielders 4. Tara Niodonna, C/DM, 21 - Daii Raiders 4 Caps, 0 Goals Uncapped at Under-21 Level) 7. Jade Matranga, L/AM, 31 - Tabeck Lightning 26 Caps, 8 Goals (10 Caps, 4 Goals at Under-21 Level) Taking up "Garcia's" number seven shirt, Jade misses out on the Captaincy thanks to Cherry's late arrival. Expect her to, as usual, wander into attacking areas and swap positions with the attacking-midfielder 8. Will Soperra, CM, 22 - Penningworth United 8 Caps, 0 Goals (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) 11. Cherry Garcia, Captain, RW, 34 - Jhanna City 68 Caps, 12 Goals (18 Caps, 7 Goals at Under-21 Level) A late entrant into the squad, Cherry has proved her fitness for her last appearances in a STarblaydi shirt, the armband was hers for the taking. 15. Gino Vogliazzi, C/DM, 33 - Hallad Reavers 20 Caps, 1 Goal (11 Caps, 2 Goals at Under-21 Level) 16. Donii, CM, 18 - FC Farca Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) The first ethnic Aquilianan to play for Starblaydia, Donii even sounds like a Vegan. 21. Matteo Prizzoni, C/RM, 17 - Vecchio Victors Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) The Forwards 9. Roberto Vega, SC, 31 - Internashionale World Cup 25 Winner 27 Caps, 10 Goals (9 Caps, 4 Goals at Under-21 Level) One of two World Cup Winners in the squad, Roberto's experience will come in very handy as he will lead the attacking line, perhaps for the last time 10. Jackie Maitland, SC, 18 - Tuncastle Rovers Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) 17. Lawrence Asante, CF, 16 - Unattached Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) 18. Thomas Nixon, SC, 30 - Talbott (Liverpool England) 15 Caps, 5 Goals (4 Caps, 0 Goals at Under-21 Level) Oh Tommy, Tommy. Where did all that promise go? Thirty years old and only a handful of goals to his name, playing in Liverpool England was never going to help his career, honestly 22. Charles Barron, SC, 17 - Hecia Uncapped (Uncapped at Under-21 Level) 23. Raphaelo, SC, 34 - Iskara Daii World Cup 25 Winner X Caps, X Goals (X Caps, X Goals at Under-21 Level) The old stager is back - again - for the AOCAF, with Evans looking for a six-strong strike force, balancing enormous ammounts of youth with lots of experience - it could be the crucial factor in Starblaydia taking a record 5th title. The Formation Home And Away Kits: Kits created by: |
Posted by: Sarzonia May 18 2006, 03:59 PM |
Sarzonia Stars second choice side Coach: Brett Hancock (43). Assumed the coaching reins before AOCAF XI and led the Stars to back-to-back finals appearances, including a championship in AOCAF XII. He has just been named the interim head coach of the first choice Stars team, so he may be grooming a replacement. Assistant Coach: Brian Wilson (35). Sarzonia’s all-time leading goal scorer and considered the best player the Stars have ever had, Brian Wilson is looking to follow in his father’s footsteps as a coach. Roster (starters in bold): Goalkeepers 1 Marc Lucas (Rochester Community College): Lucas is a product of Hancock’s intent to reform the Stars as a younger, hungry team. At 20 years old, he easily could have been a starter had Sarzonia fielded a Under 21 national team. His reflexes and 6’3”, 205 pound frame make him an intimidator in the box. 18 George Endicott (Endymion State University): At 5’9” and 160 pounds, relies entirely on reflexes and savvy borne from being the son, the younger brother of, and the nephew of goalkeepers. He’s 21 years old. Defenders 2 Eric Ogden (Paleuma High School): Celebrated his 18th birthday with a phone call from Hancock that he was to be invited to training camp. At 5’11” and 185 pounds, Ogden possesses little speed but great quickness. His timing and positioning need improvement though. 3 Jeff Campbell (S.C. Tacoma – semipro): Chose not to attend university after his grades in secondary school were subpar, but he’s an excellent manmarker. At 19 years old, he’s a project for Hancock to develop. 8 Karey Johnson (Joe Gibbs University): At 22 years old, he just graduated from the university and is one of the few players over 21 on the team. At 6’2, 190 pounds, often uses his body to outmuscle smaller midfielders and forwards. 19 Joanne Conroy (Woodstock Justice, women’s team): This 20 year old is another product of the women’s team that produced Landra Tennison, a key player on both the men’s and women’s national teams. At 5’7, 140 pounds, relies on tenacity to get by. 23 Brian Coleman (Saugerties Snakes): This 6’1, 174 pounder has the skill to play midfielder but played defence for most of his career because he was trying to develop his versatility. Became a hard-nosed man marker and has a future ahead of him at 17 years old. 26 Jeff Traber (no affiliation): At 18 years old, he failed to sign with either a university side or a semipro club after his graduation from secondary school. This 5’8, 135 pounder needs to spend time in the weight room to effectively play the style of football at which he is accustomed. Midfielders: 12 Lou Benton (Piscataway Junior College): This 19 year old has developed rapidly after encountering the legendary former coach of the Joe Gibbs University team. He is often the man shutting down opposing midfield maestros and gets in their head despite a 5’5” 140 pound frame. 13 Will Banks (Portland Timbers reserve team): Banks has had some practice time with the first team of the Timbers but the 20 year old spends the majority of his time on the reserve side. At 5’11, 159 pounds, still has to learn the nuances of the pro game. 20 Gavin Magruder (South Wilmington Sharks minor league team): After graduating from junior college, he found no takers among the Sarzonian Football Confederation teams, so he signed with a minor league club playing in an independent league. This 21 year old makes a living selling insurance on the side and has little time to devote to bulking up his 6’, 170 pound frame. 10 Carly Jones (Woodstock Justice): Team captain. For a female player to earn the 10 shirt on a men’s team, she has to be special. For a 24 year old to be a team captain, the team has to be young or she has to be mature and she’s both. At 5’10, 156 pounds, she can mix it up with the men if needed. 14 Frank Tanner (Woodstock Wild reserve team): Tanner could start on most SFC clubs, but is a rarely used reserve on the Wild. Thus, he’s been given a chance to shine on the reserve team. At 21 years old with a 5’11, 168 pound frame and blinding speed, he’ll be a factor for years to come. 21 Nate Rogers (Joe Gibbs University): A senior at 19 years old, he earned his master’s degree at the age of 20 and is looking for a professional team to take the 5’11, 170 pound defensive midfielder. Forwards 9 Xander Ridge (Saugerties Snakes): At 27 years old, he’s by far and away the oldest player on the team. A 6’3, 210 pound block of granite, he’s an excellent target forward. 11 Drew Reali (Queenstown Academy): He chose to attend an academy devoted to football after scoring 30 goals in a 24 match schedule in secondary school. He’ll probably end up being a supporting forward in the pro ranks. (19 years old, 5’11, 155 pounds) 17 Steven Ross (no affiliation): This 20 year old owns his secondary school’s all time goal scoring record despite an injury-plagued career. That keeps this 5’8, 145 pounder on the bench until the second half. |
