| Jay Industries have been working hard. At the beginning of the year they wowed the world with the revolutionary [OOC: And theoretically feasible, Starblaydia] Plasmatic Thrust Drive. Today they released their first new products for nearly six months. Firstly, the F-3 Bird of Prey, the third military aircraft from Jay Industries. Unlike the previous ungainly contraptions, the super-sleek F-3 is capable of 661mph (1,065km/h). Ditching conventional wing-hung missiles, every weapon on the Bird of Prey is contained within the fuselage, streamlining the craft further. The Bird of Prey features twelve basic machine guns and six rocket tubes, capable of firing either CAM-1 or PAM-1 missiles, in the nose of the aircraft. Two doors on either side of the craft contain a B125-1 125kg bomb each. The PAM-1 Plasmatic Aerial Missile uses the new Plasmatic Thrust Drive to reach higher speeds than those achievable by conventional missiles such as its predecessor, the AAM-2, now reclassified as the CAM-1 Conventional Aerial Missile. The PAM-1 is basically a small PTD fitted into the CAM-1's shell. The size issues mean that the PAM-1 does not retain the CAM-1's homing mechanism, making it strictly a blindfire weapon, however it is accurate and fast, so a skilled pilot should make short work of any target. http://img139.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pam19qd.jpg The other new technology is the B125-1. This 125kg bomb is not as powerful as other bombs but features a laser guidance system, and is therefore very accurate. http://img108.imageshack.us/my.php?image=b12512mp.jpg The CA-1 is Jay Industries' first commercial airliner. It has been tested experimentally out of King Falcon I memorial airport, and initial results against the current standard aircraft of Sky (Falcania's chief airline operator), the Boeing 747, have proved promising. Carrying around 500 passengers with a flight crew of 50, ten FAF trained flight officers and reserves with thirty-five flight attendants and fifteen dedicated armed guards, trained specifically for the purpose, the CA-1 has recorded times of around forty minutes between KFI and FBI airports, compared with the 747's hour. I think what he's saying is that for $3 Million for a top of the line fighter jet with that much firepower, you better sell that stock in Jay Industries  In other words, the price seems slightly unrealistic. |

| Add a zero in it's dollar format, at least, if not doubling that figure afterwards. Plus it would need no more than two or god-knows even four machine guns. Twelve is a complete waste of space, weight and are generally useless, even if you are trying to make some kind of uber-rectangular-but-bevelled-fighter-bomber. |

| Also, the Legalese Commercial Airline Industry would be interested in hearing more about the CA-1. Namely, we'd like to know the costs of operating the craft, what fuel would be necessary, and of course the ability to obtain such. Also, is there any possibility of a smaller model of commercial aircraft? |

| Star: I will reconsider the price. And maybe 12 machine guns didn't communicate my intention properly. It's effectively 2 machine guns, but each is comprised of 6 slower guns. Like a minigun, but with fixed barrels. Legalese: The prices and running costs have yet to be fixed. The products will be tested in Falcania for a few more months while we fix these costs. However, a smaller commercial aircraft would be viable and we may indeed begin design. |
